Pink & Red Bunting

Just a little something crafty today, I have some foody posts coming up, but have lost my motivation to get them blogged so would love a bit of a kick up the backside!

This is a string of custom made bunting made for a customer at Emporium. 

The specifications were for it to be girly vintage style with pink and red fabrics, so this is what I came up with:

Its a mix of gingham and floral print fabrics, with (hopefully) quite a vintage look to it too.

I used some of my very favourite Cath for Ikea paisley, and some very sweet florals.

So I hope its new owner is pleased with it! It was nice working in the pink again!

On a completely irrelevant note, has anyone else been watching (and LOVING) The Great British Bake Off? I have been glued to the screen for the last 6 weeks and am hoping they'll commission another series as its been so fab! 

The book is already on my Crimbo list (yes I have one ready and raring to go!!)

Perfectly Plumped

I am falling behind with blogging about my part in the 52MMMC, and although I have been making and doing each week and even remembering to take photos I really do need to get them uploaded and blogged about before I get way way behind!

Todays post isn't about the challenge, but just what I've made recently as orders from my Folksy shop.

I had a lovely double order from a lady who wanted two of my personalised initial cushions for girls. 

I really enjoy crafting to order and I especially liked making these, as there has not been much pink going on around here lately!!

So gingham for M and ditzy print for E...

finished off with some sparkly buttons and a roses and gingham label.

I am really pleased with them, and hope that their new owners are too.
